Owner of Vida Moulin, Chantell Nighswonger, arranges her ever-changing selections of boho-chic looks.
Chantell Nighswonger, owner of Vida Moulin, which will open its second location in Tucson this year, travels the world visiting boutiques in search of inspiration for her store in central Phoenix. Nighswonger, formerly a PR assistant at Versace and Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, curates her collections by monitoring where her clientele will travel next. “It all comes down to Instagram,” says Nighwonger. “That travel picture and what you’re wearing in it is such a defining part of travel.” Nighswonger, who grew up in Scottsdale, describes her aesthetic as clean and modern-Bohemian, which translates to feminine, flirty and wearable pieces that include dresses, swimwear and closet staples like jeans and tees. Inventory rotates weekly—expect under-the-radar brands, including Bali-based Faithfull The Brand. Nighswonger says the goal is to instill confidence. “At the end of the day, it’s about continuing to be that destination store.” 1568 E. Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, 602.265.1644
