Chocolate chai petit gateau, a recent creation by pastry chef Rebecca Obaza for the Artist Dinner series at Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen
ARTFARE There are, among us, those who desire a little something more—a great meal, yes, but also a memorable experience. Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen’s new Artist Dinner series aims to connect palate and palette through an immersive evening of food, live music, art and craft cocktails. Under the stars and among the lush gardens of Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows, eight guests will enjoy hand-drawn menus, a cocktail reception with artists of nearby Cattle Track Arts Compound, a seven-course meal prepared by executive chef Nathan Larsen and clever cocktail pairings. “Each dish tells a story of where the chef has been, or who they have worked with,” says Natalie Murphy, marketing manager of Andaz Scottsdale. “Each chef, like an artist, has a style, and we really wanted that to show.” The night concludes with a take-home gift reflecting the essence of local culture and community. “The resort from one corner to the next is about design and art.” Murphy says. “We wanted to create a dinner that highlights the local craftsmen.” $200 per person, Dec. 5, Jan. 2, Feb. 6, March 5 and April 2, 6114 N.
