Kombucha—a fermented drink said to have a host of health benefits, including an improved immune system—is all the rage these days. One place we’ve spotted this drink lately? At the bar. Here’s where you can imbibe boozy kombucha cocktails in the Valley. Cheers!
Farm & Craft was one of the first to feature kombucha cocktails.
Bewitching Bubbles Boochcraft, a California-based company peddling the state’s first high-alcohol kombucha, recently launched here in the Valley. Enjoy dynamic flavors like watermelon + mint + chili. Find this on store shelves at Arcadia Premium (5618 E. Thomas Road, Ste. 100, Phoenix) or at a variety of restaurants.
Effervescent Personality An early adopter of this trend, Farm & Craft has had kombucha cocktails on the menu since the restaurant opened back in 2016. Guests can choose from six different options. For a spicy take, consider the Kombucha & Habanero ($13) with Hanson habanero vodka, fresh lime and ginger, ginger beer, and kombucha. “Kombucha is a healthy alternative to add refreshing bubbles to a cocktail. With people being more aware of what’s going into their bodies these days, it seemed like a great opportunity to utilize the drink for its health benefits,” says Matt Thompson, beverage director for Riot Hospitality Group, Farm & Craft’s parent company. 4302 N. Mint Condition When the team at Proof Canteen at the Four Seasons started noticing guests ordering kombucha more frequently, they decided to create a cocktail using the fizzy beverage. What they divined was a Kombucha Mojito ($16), made with white rum, lime juice, agave, a handful of fresh mint and your favorite kombucha—Proof usually uses Wild Tonic tropical tumeric with organic honey. Look forward to a savory, refreshing libation—perfect for a hot summer night. 10600 E. Crescent Moon Drive, Scottsdale, 480.513.5085
