The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort opens this October after a $115 million makeover.
The $115 million makeover includes 10 pools across a 2.5-acre complex.
The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort—the first Grand Hyatt hotel in Arizona—will open this October following a $115 million makeover. Previously the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, the property boasts more than just a new name.
Decadent cabanas and poolside seating are perfect for soaking up some rays.
International architecture firm WATG and Phoenix-based interior design firm Hale Collective headed the renovations—including guest rooms, dining areas, ballrooms and the 2.5-acre pool complex—with the goal of immersing visitors in the true spirit of the American Southwest. Says general manager Lance Marrin, “We are creating a destination that will not only reflect the region’s rich heritage but will also provide our guests with an immersive, elevated experience that connects them to the illuminating essence of the Sonoran Desert.”
Updated guest rooms feature warm, contemporary colors reminiscent of the Sonoran Desert.
Each of the 496 guest rooms—including 18 private casitas and the two-story Gainey House—fully embodies this ethos, featuring warm color schemes and rich textures inspired by the desert’s stunning landscapes. Care for a bite? Celebrity chef Richard Blais (you know him from FOX’s Next Level Chef ) oversees the six food and beverage concepts, four of which are brand-new. From modern Italian dishes at La Zozzona to global-inspired small plates at Tika Taka and two poolside concepts (Sandbar, H2Oasis), there’s something to satisfy every palate.
Chic details further immerse guests into desert living.
Quite possibly the property’s ultimate crown jewel, the updated pool complex features 10 glimmering pools, a white sand beach, a thrilling three-story waterslide and a beachside putting green. Sounds like it’s time for our next staycation. grandhyatt.com
