THE PARTY Food fanatics enjoyed a culinary celebration at A Night of Culinary Stars, which raised over $100,000 in benefit of the James Beard Foundation. THE GUESTS Around 200 guests wined, dined and were welcomed by the host committee, which included Christine Gustafson, Carrie Hulburd, Donna Johnson, Amy Louis, Marc Reid, Marci Symington and Anita Theisen. Bill Nassikas, the president and COO of Westroc Hospitality, served as an honorary chair. VIPs included Mitchell Davis, the executive vice president of the James Beard Foundation; and anchor Sean McLaughlin of CBS 5 News. THE HIGHLIGHTS Drinks, dinner and dessert stole the show. The menu boasted dishes created by James Beard Award-winning chefs. Other memorable moments included a live auction and a celebratory confection created by Tammie Coe Cakes in honor of the event.
