The Hermosa Inn rolls out a luxe reno.
The recently expanded LON'S Last Drop patio includes more lounge seating and five additional fireplaces.

The Hermosa Inn has long enjoyed accolades for its boutique elegance and quiet, secluded charm. But with a recent $5.5 million renovation and expansion, now is the perfect time to book a staycation. Changes include the addition of 10 deluxe hideaway casitas, a complete redux of 12 historic rancho casitas and an expansion of the LON’S Last Drop bar and patio. The new deluxe casitas (from $179 per night) are 700 square feet and feature retractable skylights with wooden cathedral ceilings, white oak floors, a light switch-controlled beehive fireplace, a canopied bed and a large bathroom with freestanding tub. LON’S Last Drop now sports additional fireplaces and seating for enjoying the bar’s casual menu items and cocktails. The property itself offers some of the most voluminous and brightly colored displays of flowers in the Valley, with every wall and walkway handsomely adorned with lush blooms. If a smaller, more private oasis with stunning views and adobe-style architecture is what you seek, look no further. Rooms from $139 per night, 5532 N. Palo Cristi Road, Paradise Valley, 602.955.8614
