The 2015 Stars in Service dinner at JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn benefited the Joe Foss Institute, founded by Medal of Honor recipient Joe Foss to support public service and civics education. Attendees included Jay Leno, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award; former United States Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell (basis for the book and film Lone Survivor); and Air Force Reserve helicopter pilot Lt. Col. Jeff Peterson, who rescued Luttrell in Afghanistan in 2005. Guests also celebrated Arizona recently becoming the first state to pass the American Civics Bill, which requires high school students to pass a standardized civics test in order to graduate. -Photos by Haute Photography
