A Sparkling Night

| June 24, 2015 | Parties National

Southwest Center for HIV/ AIDS held its 20th Anniversary Celebration Gala, Night for Life, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.

THE PARTY
RE:NEW, RE:SOLVE and RE:JOICE was the theme of the evening, which included a cocktail reception, an exceptional dinner and an over-the-top silent auction for 800 guests. After time spent celebrating chairs, co-chairs and honorees from previous years plus a special awards presentation, the live auction attracted plenty of attention and cash (there was even a Chevrolet Corvette car raffle winner). Money raised was matched by The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation. Later Wynonna Judd & The Big Noise took the stage. And as if that weren’t enough, the official afterparty continued until the wee hours.

THE PEOPLE
Prominent guests included Tom Simplot, Annie Loyd, Terry Goddard, Jana Bommersbach, Neil Guiliano, Mary Rose Wilcox, Steve Gallardo, Greg and Nicole Stanton, Sue Glawe and Kirk Baxter.

THE SCENE
The enthusiastic and beautifully dressed men and women were ready once again for one of the best parties of the year. Keeping in mind that one in 112 adults on the planet has HIV/AIDS, the focus of the evening was genuine. Co-chairs Christi Warner Beyer, Robert Black and Marc Reid produced a gem of an event that grossed $650,000. -Photos by Haute Photography
