Fashion, art and technology collided for this year’s unforgettable SMoCA Mix: TECH Sublime.

The Party Over 200 guests gathered at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art to celebrate artist-driven technology and new media a la mode. The evening raised $32,000 in support of the museum. The Guests Tyler Butler, founder of 11Eleven Consulting, served as the event ambassador. Dorothy Lincoln-Smith—a longtime leader in the arts and emeritus member of the SMoCA advisory board of trustees—was honored. Art patrons Billie Jo and Judd Herberger showed their support. Scottsdale City Council Members Kathy Littlefield and Guy Phillips were also among the attendees. The Highlights Featured exhibition Squidsoup’s virtual environment Submergence had up to 12,000 points of suspended light. L.A.-based artist Tiffany Trenda used her 3-D printed suit to sync guests’ heartbeats with her own.
