THE PARTY As part of Saks Fifth Avenue’s sixth Key to the Cure shopping spree to support cancer research at the Translational Genomics Research Institute, 225 fashionable attendees gathered at the department store to enjoy gourmet food, buy raffle tickets for designer items and catch an exclusive peek at the latest fall fashions during a runway show. THE GUESTS On the scene were co-chairs Jacquie Dorrance and Katie Mueller, as well as designers from Etro, Coomi Jewelry and Ethan K. THE HIGHLIGHTS The coveted special-edition Key to the Cure T-shirt, created by esteemed designer Jason Wu, was available for $35, with 100 percent of sales benefiting TGen. Shopping for up-to-the-minute fashions also contributed to the evening’s success; Saks Fifth Avenue generously donated 2 percent of all store sales from its friends and family shopping weekend to TGen, and more than $150,000 was raised for this important cause. –Photos by Haute Photography
