Set high above the Silverleaf community, Altitude was sold at a record-breaking $28.1 million, making it the most expensive listing to close in Arizona history. The 21,150-square-foot luxury home was impressively sold under one month of being listed, which is a proud feat for Laura Briggs, a Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty luxury agent. “I felt incredibly honored to be a part of the most significant residential sale in Arizona history and pleased that this was also the smoothest transaction in my career,” she says.

Constructed by Mast Luxury Homes and designed by Dale Gordon, this Italian-inspired home features eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms and is designed with an open floor plan perfect for entertaining guests. Alongside its list of amenities, from a game room fitted with two Sub-Zero wine columns to a temperature-controlled 12-car garage, this home includes an entire guest casita that ensures privacy with a full kitchen and two en suite bedrooms.

Altitude truly sets itself apart as a home that leaves its guests awestruck by the surrounding views of mountains and the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. “The name Altitude really says it all,” Briggs says. “This homesite is one of the highest in Silverleaf and commands the very best elevated views in the community.” russlyon.com/scottsdale

Within a gated, tranquil community, Rosewood Homes started construction and presales for a new 19-home community, Rosewood Canyon at Storyrock in North Scottsdale. The community sets its residents east of Troon Mountain and next to the McDowell Sonoran Preserve with views of Four Peaks and Tom’s Thumb Trailhead.
“We were attracted to Storyrock because it is surrounded by the largest urban preserve in the lower 48 states, offering remarkable views and 30,000 acres of open space including miles of walking and hiking trails,” says David Kitnick, president and founder of Rosewood Homes.
Rosewood Canyon at Storyrock homes, which are priced from the low $1.7 millions during presales, are single-story homes that range from approximately 3,650 to 4,250 square feet featuring oversize garages plus seamless indoor-outdoor living on large 2/3- to 3/4-acre lots. Aiming to please a variety of homeowners’ design tastes, interior styles range from contemporary to traditional, along with authentic exterior architectural styling including desert contemporary, ranch hacienda and Spanish revival. Within the homes, 12-foot ceilings with 8-foot-tall interior doors complement the space alongside custom cabinetry and quartz or granite countertops.
Along with the Rosewood Canyon at Storyrock community, Rosewood Homes is also in construction and presales for a 37-lot community, Rosewood Highlands at Storyrock, with 10 homes already sold. “Our Rosewood Canyon and Rosewood Highlands neighborhoods are located on some of the most beautiful property in metropolitan Phoenix with gorgeous 360-degree mountain views,” Kitnick says, “including views of some of Arizona’s most iconic mountain ranges.” rosewoodhomes.com

With a long-standing reputation in the Chicago real estate market, Belgravia Group plans to break ground in North Scottsdale in early 2023 for its new community development, Portico. “Chicago is our home, but Scottsdale offers tremendous potential with a booming population and large lots of undeveloped land,” says Elizabeth Brooks, EVP of sales and marketing at Belgravia Group. “We see it as an opportunity to put the Belgravia signature on a development truly from the ground up.”

The luxury condominium—which consists of 112 residences—is already more than 60% reserved, surpassing the Belgravia Group’s sale expectations. From its private clubhouse with an outdoor pool and fitness center to its dog park, Portico has a running list of amenities, along with spectacular views of the McDowell Mountains and Scottsdale cityscape. The two-, three- and four-bedroom residences still on the market are situated throughout the nine buildings on the property and range in price from $800,000 to $1.9 million.
“Our primary goal was to make a big impression on the Scottsdale audience,” Brooks says. “We wanted to come in with a community that will wow potential homeowners, but also offer amenities that foster community so that Portico feels like a home to those who live there.” porticocondos.com
