Long celebrated for its vibrant creative scene, The Valley will host its first-ever major art event this spring: Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week. Set for Mar. 20-23, 2025, the event will gather over 120 galleries from around the world at WestWorld of Scottsdale, blending art, luxury and Southwestern culture in an unprecedented four-day celebration.

Leading the charge is Michael Plummer, development director for Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week and founder of Artvest. With an impressive background, including co-founding TEFAF New York and serving as Christie’s COO, Plummer envisions an event that taps into the area’s artistic heritage. “There’s a reason the desert Southwest has attracted and inspired the likes of Georgia O’Keeffe, Max Ernst and Frank Lloyd Wright and continues to inspire the new talent of today,” said Plummer. “This, coupled with the fact that the city has a huge concentration of wealth and one of the nation’s largest untapped communities of art collectors, makes it the ideal setting for this special event.” While the specifics will be released closer to the fair, Plummer promises an exciting lineup. “I can tell you that it will be a very compelling mix of galleries and dealers specifically chosen for this community: contemporary Indigenous artists, LatinX galleries, design and decorative works of art, jewelry and abundant cultural and VIP programming,” he shares.

The centerpiece of Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week will be at WestWorld’s 117,000-square-foot North Hall, featuring a curated selection of historical, contemporary and Indigenous artworks. Notable satellite events will span locations like the Desert Botanical Garden, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s famed desert retreat.

Attendees can look forward to a lineup of art displays, fashion shows, cultural performances and exclusive VIP experiences during the fair, which coincides with Scottsdale’s Cactus League Spring Training. “Scottsdale has long attracted visitors who enjoy a luxury lifestyle, and a lot of the people who live, work and play here also have an appreciation for the finer things in life,” said Joshua Rose, Rose Creative founder and event co-organizer. “This event is a great fit for this community, and it’s a great way to introduce—or reintroduce—the world’s top artists, gallerists and collectors to everything this area and its artists have to offer.” scottsdaleartweek.com
