Scottsdale Fashion Week (SFW) will commence with a runway show in the showroom of Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale on Thursday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. with clothing provided by designer to the stars, Michael Costello. The season eight Project Runway contestant has previously shown his designs at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week. His well-known dresses have been seen on several top celebrities including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
On Friday, March 4, Costello will host an exclusive designer meet and greet brunch at Dakota. Ticket includes champagne brunch and will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are limited.
The dedicated activewear and swimwear show, Fashion-A-Ball, will take place Friday, March 4 at 9:00 p.m. on W Scottsdale’s WET Deck. The show will feature designs by Athleta and Monica Hansen as well as Trina Turk, Michael Kors and Jessica Simpson swim presented by Dillard’s.
The fashion shows will conclude Saturday, March 5 at 9:00 p.m. at Livewire with a Fashion Carousel. The carnival-themed event will feature runway looks provided by Suitsupply, Fashion by Robert Black, Shahida Parides and MNM Couture. The show will be feature a performance by Australian DJ and model, Brooke Evers.
Brooke Evers is a supermodel, TV personality and DJ known for hand-crafting mixes of the latest pop and R&B tracks with electro. Evers has performed at some of the most notable clubs in Australia including residencies at HQ in Adelaide, The Met in Brisbane, Marquee in Sydney and more. After relocating to the United States in 2014, she signed to SKAM Artist DJs.
Scottsdale Fashion Week Closing Night Celebration will take place Monday, March 7 at Livewire with a performance by Charlie Puth.
Charlie Puth is an American singer, songwriter who gained viral popularity from the music he posted to YouTube. His debut single, “Marvin Gaye” featuring Meghan Trainor, peaked at No. 21 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and his song with rapper Wiz Khalifa, “See You Again,” was nominated for a 2016 Grammy award.
