THE PARTY Fashionably Pink, the kickoff to Phoenix Fashion Week, recruited a bevy of local celebrities and cancer survivors to strut the runway and ultimately raise thousands of dollars for breast cancer awareness nonprofit Don’t Be a Chump, Check for a Lump. Meanwhile, guests sipped Little Black Dress wines and took home No7 cosmetics, among other goodies, in their luxe gift bags. THE PEOPLE Don’t Be a Chump, Check for a Lump founder Holly Rose; Phoenix Fashion Week Executive Director Brian Hill; host Brittany Brannon; Kiss FM’s Johnjay Van Es, Rich Berra and Kyle Unfug; Miss Arizona USA Rachel Lee Massie; 3TV’s Yetta Gibson; The Bachelorette alum Arie Luyendyk Jr.; actress Leann Dearing THE HIGHLIGHTS Celebs and breast cancer survivors walked the pool-circling runway at Domus luxury apartments wearing pink-inspired Phoenix Fashion Week designs. Naturally, Van Es and Berra, better known to their radio program listeners as Johnjay and Rich, took intentional dips halfway through their runway walks. But the best part of the evening was the touching video reel, during which several cancer survivors shared their stories—and victories. Photography by Trudgephoto Photography and Desert Rose Images
