Arizona’s esteemed luxury builder, interior designer and realty firm takes us through the making of this marvelous, modern Paradise Valley home.

“The architecture of the home was inspired by Mark Tomecak,” says Michael Banovac, managing partner at RMB Luxury Real Estate. “The architect’s Serbian background influenced a simplistic and European modern styling.” In the initial planning stages, RMB Luxury Real Estate interior designer Debra Richardson suggested a floor plan that could blend seamlessly into a spacious family-friendly residence offering endless entertaining opportunities, both inside and out. “The design team’s focus was to prioritize every square foot to maximize a modern-marvel, entertainer’s dream home,” he says.

“Emphasizing Camelback Mountain views with stunning sunsets was the design team’s top priority,” says Banovac. Ten foot high sliding doors opening on both sides afforded the interior to blend seamlessly with the exterior. Banovac sold this home during the drywall stage, allowing the buyers to add their input to the finishes. Lead designer Richardson used pure whites, soft grays and bold blacks, while the design team added softer, warmer tones in the secondary areas.
“These new buyers wanted their new home to match the quality of high-end features they had seen in the L.A. area selling for $30 million plus,” says Banovac. “They wanted the flexibility to transform the home into a swanky night club for special evenings of entertainment.” An intricate sound system with multi-colored LED lighting both inside and out created a visual and sound spectacle. The outdoors is outfitted with a 70-foot pool and a 12-person jacuzzi, plus various seating and entertaining areas.

“The unique family who purchased this home could not be happier,” says Banovac. Plus, he notes, a Hollywood stamp of approval was given by reality power couple Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young when they toured the home and loved the stunning finishes and cleverly designed residence.
