Liberty Wildlife's 2015 Wishes for Wildlife Benefit

The 22nd Annual Wishes for Wildlife benefit at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Paradise Valley is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015. The evening will include cocktails, a silent auction, dinner, entertainment, presentations, and a raffle drawing. The 2014 event raised $200,000. The goal for the 2015 event is to raise $500,000, which will go directly to Liberty Wildlife.

Liberty Wildlife assists the lives of Arizona’s native wildlife, promotes stewardship and provides quality environmental education throughout the Southwest. Liberty Wildlife’s mission is to “nurture and nature” of Arizona by answering the community’s need for quality wildlife rehabilitation, environmental education, and conservation services. Founded in 1981, Liberty Wildlife has nurtured nearly 80,000 birds, mammals and reptiles. In 2014, Liberty Wildlife presented over 840 educational programs statewide to citizens of all ages. Liberty Wildlife envisions a time when wildlife was is recognized as an integral part of our natural world, and a precious natural resource, to be protected and preserved. Liberty Wildlife envisions being a permanent community resource, a place to instill compassion and stewardship in young minds and a place to reconnect the public with the beauty and benefits of native wildlife and habitat.
