Emanuelle Adkins furthers her global, timeless style with the LiaMo label’s new spring/summer 2020 collection.
English and Australian by birth, Emanuelle Adkins is a veteran globe-trotter, dividing her time between Monaco, where she was raised; London, for work; and Paradise Valley. The LiaMo fashion label, co-founded by Adkins and Beatrix Rendall, and launched earlier this year, was inspired by global sensibilities and designed as classic, timeless pieces to be worn by sophisticated women of any age. Crafted by a family-run atelier in London, LiaMo’s spring/summer 2020 collection features more of the brand’s signature leather pieces, as well as new silk introductions. “We have 12 new styles for spring and summer,” explains Adkins, who sells the fashions online to private clients and through a boutique in Monaco. “We’re featuring new items like leather shorts and a leather minidress with a ’60s vibe in new colors like pink and lilac, as well as silk blouses. There’s also a silk T-shirt minidress that goes day into evening—which got me through my recent pregnancy.” And for fall/winter 2020? “Without revealing too much,” Adkins says, “the inspiration is precious gemstones from the likes of Bvlgari and Harry Winston, with brilliant colors and an uplifting mood.”
