To Good Health

The Party
One of the premier philanthropy events of the season, the Honor Ball once again set the standard for what a black-tie affair should be: positively majestic. The elegant evening was held at the Phoenician and benefited the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center.

The People
Co-chairs Margot Knight and Robynn Sussman were the belles of the ball that evening, wearing gowns in hues that complemented the floral decor and centerpieces. And 2014 Honor Ball honoree Peggy Reiley, R.N., Ph.D., was all smiles. Other notables who came out to show their support included Steve Wheeler, Jeff Flake, Doug Ducey, Jon Kyl and Tom Sadvary.

The Scene
The sophisticated soiree included entertainment by the Jacqueline Foster Orchestra and a lavish three-course meal followed by sweets; coffee; and oh, yes, plenty of dancing—a party element for which the grand evening has become known. Make no mistake: A number of the city’s movers and shakers were in attendance that night. –Photos by Brad Reed
