Gambling on Success

Lady luck was with MetrOrg, a volunteer group of 45 young professionals supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix, as the organization aced its event at Red Revolver in downtown Scottsdale. The casino night netted $12,000-plus—far more than the initial goal—to benefit after-school programs. Hearts-4-Clubs is one of four annual fundraisers organized by the group. An evening of signature drinks, light bites (donated by California Pizza Kitchen), casino games, a 50/50 raffle and prizes for 14 winning gamblers made this soiree nothing but fun and games for all 188 attractive guests.
