The Party
The fifth annual Bite Nite drew 600-plus guests to the Westin Kierland Resort and raised more than $160,000 to benefit the ALS Association Arizona Chapter. Fifteen of the Valley’s best restaurants and caterers served up sips, sweets and nibbles not only to contribute to the battle against Lou Gehrig’s disease, but also to claim the title of Best Bite of the Nite, with the honor ultimately going to The Capital Grille.

The Scene
In addition to fine food, wine and beer, guests also reveled in the live and silent auctions— with some partygoers walking away with catering packages, wine experiences, chef’s table dinners, vacations and more—and tunes by the Angela Ferrari Band and Shout House’s dueling pianos. And take a bite of this: The total funds raised by the end of the evening will be enough to help the ALS Association Arizona Chapter provide annual services to more than 350 families throughout the state. -Grace Stufkosky and Ben Arnold Photography
