Phoenix Fashion Week concluded its five-day celebration of couture with a spectacular runway show at Talking Stick Resort.

A four month-long Emerging Designer Bootcamp culminated in Phoenix Fashion Week’s finale at Talking Stick Resort. Couture lovers flanked the runway, ogling ensembles by new and established designers, including Jenine Nerecina, Emily Smith, Loren Aragon and Barbara Bultman. In the end, Bultman took home the Emerging Couture Designer of the Year Award for her collection, which featured waist-length leather fringe choker necklaces.

Seasoned designers showing off their latest collections included Dalida Ayach, Rachad Itani Couture, Yas Couture, Elie Madi and Rocky Gathercole.

Local up-and-coming superstar and songstress Yasmeen opened the show with a booming performance of her single, “Selfish.” Nerecina kicked off the fashion spectacle with her Cosmogyral collection of retro lilac satin looks, accented with glitter and feathers. Smith, Bultman and Aragon followed with a parade of tribal prints, leather pants, culottes and butterfly appliques. Gathercole closed the show with sparkly bodysuits reminiscent of Brazilian showgirls. –Lauren Swanson
