Arizona Restaurant Week has lovingly becoming known as the “10 days of deliciousness” that occurs twice a year — in spring and fall. This fall, Arizona Restaurant Week takes place on Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 29 at a multitude of restaurants around the state from five-star fine dining establishments to mom-and-pop-run hidden gems.
Arizona Restaurant Week is the brainchild of the Arizona Restaurant Association, which aims to help its members become leaders in their communities by building customer loyalty, escalating awareness of food safety and healthy living, bolstering a thriving industry and rewarding workforce and increasing financial success, according to the organization’s mission statement. During each ARW, participating restaurants around the state offer guests a dedicated ARW menu that is a departure from their regular menus (which are still offered during this time), and include a three-course meal or prix-fixe menu for just $33 or $44 per person. Some restaurants may also include a beverage in that price while others may offer custom wine pairings to accompany each course for an additional cost.
According to Arizona Restaurant Association president and CEO Steve Chucri, Arizona Restaurant Week serves as both a way for locals and visitors alike to further explore the state’s vibrant culinary scene as well as for valley dining establishments to showcase the true culinary talents of their chefs. A variety of tastes representing a world of culinary flavor are available during Fall Arizona Restaurant Week. With more than 160 restaurants already confirmed to participate in this season’s event, with more being added daily, there is no limit to the variety of experiences that diners can enjoy during Fall ARW.
Just a select few restaurants set to participate this year and wow diners with their culinary creativity include Alexi’s Grill, Buck and Rider, Chelsea’s Kitchen, El Chorro, Phoenix City Grille, Roka Akor, Sam & Luca Rustic Kitchen, Tempo Urban Bistro, The Covenant, Virtu Honest Craft and many more. For those that like to peruse the menu before they dine, most restaurant’s Fall Arizona Restaurant Week menus remain the same throughout the 10-day culinary extravaganza and they are posted on the Arizona Restaurant Week website.
Regardless of where diners choose to eat throughout Fall Arizona Restaurant Week (and dining out multiple times is not only accepted, its highly encouraged), they are sure to rediscover an old favorite, find a new favorite and ultimately get a true taste of what the Arizona culinary scene has to offer. With a nearly unlimited array of cuisines, atmospheres and even price points within the event (as some of the prix-fixe pricing of $33 or $44 per person even extends to $33 or $44 per couple at some restaurants, offering a fabulous value along with the experience), Fall Arizona Restaurant Week is certain to live up to its reputation for offering patrons “10 days of deliciousness.” For more information, a complete list of participating restaurants and their Fall ARW menus, visit www.arizonarestaurantweek.com.
