Have you ever wanted to take a walk in Drake’s shoes? Now you can, in the new collaborative sneaker from OVO and Bape.
A report by HighSnobiety has revealed the latest offering from Drake’s lifestyle company and the streetwear brand, a STA style sneaker in all white, due for release in October of this year.

This new STA sneaker is similar to the style of a Nike Air Force 1. The exterior is finished in reptile-textured leather that wraps from front to back. Bape’s logo can be found on the tongue of the shoe, while the OVO logo is incorporated on the outer sides of the shoes and the top of the laces. The shoes even come with a specially designed box to commemorate the collaboration.
HighSnobiety notes there had been speculation earlier this year that Drake would collaborate with Nike’s NOCTA line on a pair of Air Force 1’s. Photos were released of the potential shoe with Drake’s “certified lover boy” mark on the rubber sole. No news has followed from that project, however, and the Bape collaboration is looking far more official.

OVO and Bape are no strangers to teamwork. Drake’s label took to the lifestyle and fashion sector in 2008 with a line of clothing and accessories, releasing everything from hoodies to luggage in the years since. OVO first collaborated with Bape in 2020, and a series of capsule collections have followed, including a recently launched Fall/Winter 2022 line.
Debuting last month, the OVO x Bape Fall/Winter 2022 collection includes redeveloped fabrics in styles that strive for a more comfortable vibe. The line boasts white, gray and black hoodies, polos, t-shirts, sweats, shorts and sweatshirts. Although the designs aim for simplicity, all the items incorporate the signature OVO owl logo.

Drake has been busy as ever this summer. In June of this year, he released his seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind, catching headlines for its use of house music production. The LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums.
You can cop a pair of the OVO x Bape STAs in October, and wear them from the dance floor to the grocery store, or anywhere else you’re planning to stunt this season. Learn more via Bape’s webstore and highsnobiety.com.
