The Party
This year, Phoenix Art Museum’s annual pARTy gala celebrated the opening of the international Hollywood Costume exhibition. Guests enjoyed a special sneak peek of the fashions on display before the exhibit’s opening, as well as music by a live band, contemporary cuisine and the opportunity to mix with other A-listers who came from far and wide to show their support and check out the cinematic couture.
The People
Hollywood Costume curator Deborah Nadoolman Landis and Phoenix Art Museum Curator of Fashion Design Dennita Sewell were the ladies of the hour. And the attendance of six-time Academy Award nominee, actress and producer Glenn Close had guests all atwitter as she graciously chatted with longtime museum supporters.
The Scene
Partygoers thoroughly enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to mingle among more than 100 iconic Hollywood costumes, including two which Close herself has worn—a houndstooth skirt and jacket in 102 Dalmatians and an 18th century-inspired gown in Dangerous Liaisons. –Photos by Haute Photography
