Carolyn Jackson takes matters of the heart seriously. The vice president of brand strategy for Barrett-Jackson is leading Driven Hearts, a charity initiative to raise funds for the American Heart Association. She’s also chairman of this year’s Phoenix Heart Ball, an annual black-tie affair that brings together leaders from the corporate, philanthropic and medical communities to support the lifesaving work of the AHA. The ball is the longest-running—and most prestigious—charity event in the Valley. Since 1959, the event has raised millions of dollars to help fight heart disease. This year’s Heart Ball takes place on Nov. 17 at The Phoenician (6:30pm, tickets from $750). In anticipation of the event, we spoke with Jackson about local businesses and go-to vendors who have generously supported Driven Hearts.
