Caesars is synonymous with casinos, but the entertainment company is gambling on its first nongaming hotel, breaking ground on the 11-story Caesars Republic Scottsdale this summer. Adjacent to Scottsdale Fashion Square, the four-star hotel will feature five high-tech, themed VIP entertainment suites; one bridal suite, complete with a room for hair and makeup, and a Champagne lounge; and 26 one- and two-bedroom suites. “The hotel design fosters connection and intimate experiences that encourage the guest to linger in each space they visit,” says Greer May, associate principal of Studio 11 Design. “Indirect lighting highlights honest, natural materials, allowing the guest to nestle in seating areas and stay for a while.” Expect the high-style atmosphere and location to attract locals to the signature restaurant, coffee bar, and rooftop pool and bar. 888.293.2398
