Bond for the Cure

| January 28, 2015 | Parties

JDRF and co-chairs Tammy Crawford and Lani Calbert hosted One Night – License to Cure, a 007-themed gala at Omni Scottsdale, with special VIP Edsel B. Ford II. The night included high-rollers at the gaming tables, comedian Frank Caliendo cracking jokes and James Bond lookalikes at every turn. Teenager Haley Maurice, who scaled Mount Whitney (46,000 feet) while living with Type 1 diabetes, gave a touching speech. Tom Londen’s memory was honored with The Power of One Award, and Valley philanthropist Craig Jackson was honored for his generosity. A live auction and 450 guests helped JDRF raise $750,000 that evening. –Photos by Haute Photography
