From the owners of Sip Coffee and Beer comes The Rose Garden, a new immersive cocktail bar in the heart of Phoenix. Josh and Chiara Katz knew its location at Monroe Street and First Avenue would be the perfect fit for building a stronger presence downtown. With an atmosphere built from a variety of plants and flowers, the new cocktail bar welcomes its guests into what the owners say is an “upscale, floral vibe that brings elegance and comfort matched with a well-rounded, palatable menu.”

Featured on the menu is the favored flaky and shareable date and goat cheese tart and its must-try beef empanadas covered in manchego cheese and served with a chimichurri dipping sauce. An electric mix of cocktails, from the refreshing and fruity April Showers cocktail, with vodka, citrus and CBD soda, to the sweet-tasting Yellowjacket, mixed with tequila and hints of earth, vanilla and spice, are enjoyed under the hard-to-miss taxidermy peacock, Penrose, perched on the ceiling alongside wallpaper that furthers the peacock theme. Along the far wall of the bar, wallpaper with a mural of a village ties itself into the story of The Rose Garden. “We hope that guests leave feeling captivated and mesmerized from their immersive experience,” say the owners. Here, they share the recipe for their signature, nature-inspired cocktail for all to enjoy. Cheers! 101 N. First Ave., Phoenix, therosegardenaz.com
