5 Delectable Arizona Restaurant Week Menus You Need To Try

We took it upon ourselves to scour menu after menu in search of the Valley's most enticing meals — meaning that you can enjoy the most edible time of the year to the fullest extent.

Arizona Restaurant Week returns this May 19 through May 28 with prix fixe, three-course menus at restos throughout the state — starting at $33 and $44 per person. Here, we share a preview of the menus we're most excited for.

1. The Gladly

With dishes like duck meatloaf and "The OMFG Salad," the audacious prix fixe menu has us intrigued. The third course dessert options — blueberry bread pudding with a bacon crunch and chocolate stout cheesecake with a pretzel crust — have also captured our attention. $33 per person, 2201 E. 2. Barrio Queen

The queen supreme of contemporary Mexican fare will offer a special menu that includes your choice of margarita, draft beer or soft drink. Choose from dishes like fresh guacomole; grilled corn topped with butter, mayo, aged cotija cheese, Valentina, cilantro and lime; and "cochinita pibil" — pork marinated in a sour orange and anchiote paste, wrapped in a banana leaf and marinated overnight. For dessert, opt for your choice of either flan served with a vanilla Kahlua sauce or a warm churro served with a side of vanilla bean ice cream. $33 per person, 7114 E.
