Arias and Honors

| May 4, 2016 | Parties

Planned and designed by Anthony Diaz, owner and creative director of San Francisco-based Anthony & Stork, the garden-style luncheon took place at El Chorro in Paradise Valley. The Arizona Opera Crystal Key Society honored two new inductees—Marion Roose Pullin, founder of the Arizona Opera Studio; and Tammy McLeod, vice president of Energy Resource Management, APS—for their significant cultural contributions to the state of Arizona.

Honorary chairs Billie Jo and Judd Herberger, and hostess committee co-chairs Nancy Spetzler and Christina Chambers welcomed local glitterati, including Jennifer and Charles Sands, Adrienne Schiffner, Julie Prusak, artist Patsy Lowry, real estate agent Shannon Gagnon and Vernon Vaughn.

The afternoon included performances by tenor James Valenti, soprano Laura Wilde, baritone Morgan Smith and the Marion Roose Pullin Arizona Opera Studio Artists, featuring mezzo-soprano Alyssa Martin and tenor Andrew Penning. -Photography by Rachel Solomon Photography
