Peggy Fiandaca, co-owner of Lawrence Dunham Vineyards, Winery and the new Downtown Scottsdale Wine Gallery and co-owner, winemaker and grower Curt Dunham can’t keep the exciting news bottled up any longer! They are excited to announce their Sip & Learn Workshop Series held at the LDV Wine Gallery, which recently opened in Downtown Scottsdale.
There are four unique and educational classes remaining in the series — “Syrah & Petite Sirah: What’s the Difference?,” on March 18; “All About Terroir,” which appropriate takes place on Earth Day, April 22; “Discovering the Nuances of Viognier” on May 20; and “The Art of Wine Blending” on June 24. Each promises to leave guests with a newfound education about the particular wine on-topic gained through a fun night of sipping and tasting.
Each class runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., during which time guests can enjoy wine tastings equivalent of about two glasses along with small bites correlating with the theme of the class and any materials necessary for the class. Cost is $35 each or $65 per couple. Additional wine can be purchased by the glass or bottle during the course. Space for each class is limited so reservations are required. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the class to receive a refund via PayPal.
