Jennifer Parks-Sturgeon | October 24, 2019 | Lifestyle Features

What do the United States military, Nacho Figueras, The Royal County Berkshire Polo Club and the tango all have in common? This year they are just a few of the exciting new elements fans will see taking center stage at the ‘best polo event in the world’, the 2019 Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships.

The big day arrives Saturday, November 2nd and features matches such as U.S. Air Force vs. U.S. Marines, Arizona Polo Club, fan favorite Centtrip Wales Polo Team, Arizona Polo Club, defending champs Aspen Valley Polo Club with team captain Melissa Ganzi and the worlds most professional polo player and Ralph Lauren model Nacho Figueras, plus a charity match featuring Southwest Wildlife and Arizona Equine Rescue for a winning purse of $10,000 from EPR Polo.

All day long enjoy other Scottsdale Polo Party firsts with one-of-a-kind performances from Arizona’s #1 oboe player, an acoustic guitar showcase presented by Sanderson Lincoln, a “hip hopera” fusion and songs from Arizona’s most intriguing new musical, “Americano” hitting the stage at the Phoenix Theatre in January 2020.

As always fans can also enjoy The Polo Party’s signature events within the event like the Canine Couture Dog Fashion Show, the World’s Longest Catwalk Fashion Show presented by Phoenix Fashion Week, a half-time Rugby match, a preview of 2020 Barrett-Jackson’s World’s Greatest Car Collector Auction and halftime performances by the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, plus much more!

In addition to General Admission that includes access to many tents on site including the Talking Stick Rooftop Bar, Riot House, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, Wasted Grain and more, there are also three different VIP experiences: The Barrett-Jackson Champagne & Jazz Lounge, Prime: A Luxury Tent Experience by Steak 44 , Neiman Marcus, Barrett-Jackson and Bentley Scottsdale, and the Molina Fine Jewelers Drivers & Players VIP Lounge.
