On display through Jan. 31, 2021, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art’s (SMoCA, smoca.org) latest exhibition, BEYOND: Works by Nellie King Solomon and Barbara Stauffacher Solomon, shows the works of these mother and daughter artists for the first time in proximity. Each challenges the rules of constructing art and steps outside the box to create large-scale works rich in color, texture and whimsy.
