The 65th annual Phoenix Heart Ball, held late last year at The Phoenician Resort, celebrated the American Heart Association’s 100th anniversary and raised more than $3 million to support heart health initiatives. This adds to the over $60 million raised since its inception.

The evening’s theme, Celebrating Traditions, honored the legacy of past Heart Ball chairmen, starting with Peggy Goldwater in 1959. Guests, including Diane O’Malley, Oscar De las salas, Sandy Magruder, Christine Gustafson and more were greeted by stunning floral arrangements by LUX Florist—including roses cascading from a piano—while a live pianist set an elegant tone for the cocktail hour.

At 7:30 p.m., the ballroom, adorned in chairman Pam Risoleo’s chosen colors of sky blue, red and gold, was revealed to over 800 attendees.
