With temperatures dropping across the Valley it is finally time to start grabbing those sweaters and getting out of the house to embrace the few short months of Arizona fall. This season is bursting in the arts and culture scene with plenty to do and spectacular sites you do not want to miss out on.

1. Art One Celebrates 24 Years
Art One Gallery Inc. is inviting in guests to celebrate 24 years with the Second Annual Painting with the STARS charity event. Owner Kraig Foote opened the gallery in 1993 and has since been representing Arizona students and local artists at the gallery. At the Painting with the STARS event guests can enjoy a night of art in the community where they may purchase a piece, take part in a raffle or simply enjoy viewing the local artists' work. 2. Calvin Charles Gallery Season Open
At the Calvin Charles Gallery the season is starting with pieces from a variety of artists such as Jesse Armstrong, JD Hansen, Sam Chung, Elena Bulatova and Jim Kraft. 3. Gold Palette ArtWalk Kickoff
Watch artists create masterpieces at the The Scottsdale Gallery Association’s 2017-2018 Gold Palette ArtWalk Series event DEMONSTRATE! The first event of the ArtWalk series allows guests to observe as gallery artists construct designs. Guests may even be able to talk with the artists and partake in the creations. The ArtWalk events are every Thursday, except Thanksgiving, and the DEMONSTRATE! event will be the first of the season. Nov. 16, 6:30-9pm

4. ArtFest of Scottsdale
Take art appreciation out onto the streets of Scottsdale at ArtFest of Scottsdale. The festival will feature art, crafts, live music, local authors and refreshments. There will be pieces showcased from 150 artists from across the nation and is an opportunity to experience art culture at your own pace. Nov. 18, 10am-5pm

5. Aboriginal Australia at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art
Export both two- and three-dimensional works at the "Marking the Infinite: Contemporary Women Artists From Aboriginal Australia” showing at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. The presentation will feature contemporary work from nine Aboriginal women. The art is on national tour and will feature the full collection with 70 works in the galleries. Jan. 21

6. Western Spirit
View over six centuries of Hopi clay work from more than 65 works of pottery at Canvas of Clay: Hopi Pottery Masterworks from The Allan and Judith Cooke Collection, at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West in an ongoing collection of never before exhibited pottery from well known Hopi, Nampeyo of Hano, and 22 other notable potters.
