Debutantes donned their favorite gowns and slipped on their dancing shoes for the 51st annual Desert Ball at The Phoenician in Scottsdale.

The Desert Foundation Auxiliary proudly presented young Scottsdale debutantes at the 51st annual Desert Ball at The Phoenician. Proceeds from the event benefited Feeding Matters, Rosie’s House and Treasure House.

Maggie Argue reflected on her family’s multigenerational involvement in the organization: “It is with great love and pride that I see my mother and daughters join together in the connection we share in the DFA,” she says. “The kind, charismatic and generous-spirited women are what make this organization so special.”

Desert Foundation Auxiliary debutantes gave their friends and family the VIP treatment. After warming up with drinks at the open bar, guests ventured into the main ballroom for appetizers and the debutante presentation, soundtracked to a Jersey Boys theme, conducted by Edward Reading. Post-presentation, guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner set to a live performance by The Hamptons band and danced the night away until 1am. -Taylor Transtrum
